We lost our camera cord
Does anyone know where we left it? There's really no telling where it is. I'll have to type what we did this week instead of posting pictures...boo! I'm not a good writer, but here it goes. We went to McRae Thursday for Michael's great Aunt Mary's funeral and spent time with his family there and in Dublin. We went to Macon Friday afternoon to see David and Melissa at their new house. It was way cute in historic Vineville. Britt stayed with us and that was fun, too! Melissa is an amazing chef and made dinner and breakfast for us. After that, we left for Savannah to visit Brad and Carrie Brookshire, who need a blog! :) We had a great time with them in the afternoon walking around downtown. We stayed with them after we went to LaToya Rose's wedding who is now LaToya Tucciarone. That's funny. It was a pretty wedding! We went to church with The Brookshires on Sunday and then we went out on their boat. They took us to a little island near Richmond Hill and then we went crabbing. We only caught 4, so we had to throw them back and order pizza for dinner :(. I loved their little town and house. It was a great visit and they're doing really well for all of you that know them. Let's see...oh, then we went to Dublin for Dad Vestal's Birthday and got to see MIchael's grandparents again and the rest of the family and friends after dinner. We went through Macon again today and got to see Tiffany!!! She's home for a few weeks because Brett is on a ship! We're planning to go to church together Sunday. Basically, we've lived in our car. I could tell more travel stories, but I think that's enough for now.

Hey, we ended up staying in Savannah last weekend. Nathan's family came here and did the tourist thing. In fact we were probably walking around downtown the same time you guys were. Oh and wierd...we were in City Market and Nathan's aunt wanted to check out the First African Baptist Church. They had a sign on the door saying, "Closed for tours until August 8th." We had no idea that's where the wedding was that you guys went to later that evening. I've seen pictures of the inside and it is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI second the motion that the Brookshire's need a blog. They ghost read like fiends. We still mean to come visit them.
