Difficult times

My Mom called me Thursday night and told me that my Grandma had been to the doctor earlier that week because she was having difficulty breathing and sleeping. They ended up draining 2 liters of fluid off her right lung. (She's been smoking for almost her whole life...it wasn't pretty) She felt better, of course, but they told her they would call her when the results came back from testing the fluid. They called Thursday and said they wanted her to come into the office Friday (yesterday) morning because they had the results back. I called her Thursday night and talked for a long time about a lot of stuff. I told her no matter what the results were, we'd be there for her and the doctors will take care of her. It turns out she has cancer and they are having her come in on Monday for a cat scan to see where else it may be. They drained 3 more liters off her lung on Friday, too! She is fine, but when my Mom told me I got pretty upset. She's not going to be able to come to my brother's wedding next week and neither is my Grandpa. :( Please pray for them. This is really tough.
